About Claused

Claused is an independent software vendor. We build small, focused tools that solve one painful problem each — as apps for the platforms teams already live in — and we build them the way we wish more software was built:

• Engineered for performance.Hierarchy Totals for Jira Cloud exists because an entire category of tools falls over on large instances. We precompute; they time out. It is on the Atlassian Marketplace.
• Numbers that show their age. Totals come with freshness stamps and diagnostics. If something is an hour old, it says so. If your hierarchy is messy, you see where.
• Data minimization by default. An app reads as little as its job allows — and where the platform makes it possible, your data never leaves the platform at all. Each app puts its specifics in writing.
• Documented like we mean it. Real docs, a public changelog, and a public roadmap for every app — the same pages we use ourselves.

How we work

Claused is a small, independent team. The people who design and write the apps are the ones who answer support requests and write the docs, so there is nobody between the builder and the reader — which is also why this site is plain about limits.

We work asynchronously. The fastest way to reach us — and the way that actually lands in our backlog — is the contact page. Support requests are answered within two business days, critical breakages within 24 hours; support@claused.io lands in the same queue.
